Different Views of Discipline - 892 Words
Hitting, yelling, and spanking. Some people view these terms as examples of abuse. Others view them as different types of discipline that parents could use on their young children. For as long as I can remember, there has been great controversy regarding the difference between what is the correct type of discipline and what is not. Doing research, such as what I did prior to writing this paper, can help any parent decide what type of discipline will be most beneficial and least harmful to the child. The main topic of this research paper was to find alternative discipline methods other than spanking and yelling at the child. It seems like spanking and yelling work if someone were to ask a parent that enforces that type of discipline, but the reason why it works is because the child actually starts to fear his or her parent. This could lead to a broken family or even cause the child to act out even more as they grow older. The potentially poor outcomes are quite unknown, but they could be prevented with safer and more favorable types of discipline. Taking away privileges could be one of the most beneficial ways to discipline a child. Whether it is taking away TV, toys, video games, or even friends for a day, the child will realize that the bad behavior is not tolerated and should not be repeated (Morin, 2014). We all know that information systems has changed our lives and now it has become easy for us to manage our information through these systems. The way of communication and information sharing has also become changed at global and local levels. The purpose of this report is to discuss working of information system and it enhances performance of company. Besides this, we will also emphasize on to challenges of information system for organization and society as whole (Smallbusiness.chron.com, 2016). How Information System Works and how does it enhance overall performance of company. In our business organization, Management Information System is used that is commonly known as MIS. Management Information System is study about people, technology and organizations. In our organization, MIS performs various day to day business activities such as management of pay bills of employees, their profile information and information about customers order and billing. Management Information System (MIS) works on the base of accurate and organized form of information. Therefore, in our management information system, appropriate information is stored according to requirement and on the behalf of that information all operations are done and decision making is also done. Whenever services or products are purchased by customers from our stores then their personal and credit card information is stored into our information system with purchasing order. On the behalf of this information, billing is generated for that customer. Then customer pays amount accordingly. This is a quick and reliable way to generate bills. This feature of MIS has made easier for our organization to manage customers and also payrolls of employees can also be managed through this system. By using this system, companys performance has increased, because now there are lack of conflicts, lack of inaccuracy of data and inappropriate decision making (Management Information Systems, 2016). Identify Challenges of Informatics to Organizations and Societies. There are various informatics or information management systems are available that can be implemented in business organizations for handling their day to day business activities. As we have discussed above that how a management information system is beneficial for us. But these information systems or informatics also consist of some challenges that are faced by business organizations and society. If selected system is not working according to requirement then it may lead to loss of organization. Other challenge is regarding maintenance of information system that is used in business organization. There is requirement of a professional who can maintain system and its performance.
